I would have to agree with you that we must go on with life, be it single, married, divorced, etc. True, fifty is just a number. We should grow old with pride.

We should not look back and dwell in the past as it will only makes us weaker. In return, we should look forward and think positively about life. No doubt, life is hard. But we must be strong to face the challenges and hardships that come along the way. There's always a reason why things happen a certain way. It's God's test whether we remember Him not only during bad times, but also during good times. So, always pray to Him whenever you feel happy or sad and your life will be richer. Not forgetting, work hard to overcome all odds and always help those in need.

50 is a nice number. Age is ripe and by this time the major battles of life had been won. Turn around for a while and said " I've been there before" and proceed with life. Nothing much can be hurtful anymore. To any problems that come along, we take it in good stride and just think "it will pass, just be patient, my dear. Fun has a different meaning. Fun is not going to Sales anymore or watching the latest movies at the cinema. Fun is a quiet evening, family dinner and taking exercises at the park to maintain health.

Being single or married, we are already settled with our way of life. It is time to appreciate life and looking back at the laughters and tears that make our life colourful.
