I have always wanted to learn to make my own jewellery but I don't have the time yet. However, you can find an advertisement in the eHomemakers website which may help you in what you are looking for. A company is offering 6 months apprenticeship to 2 people to learn the fine art of handmade silver jewellery:

Hi,

I'm currently crafting some jwellery ,mostly with wire and beads -just amateur stuff, though I'm very keen on taking it up seriously in the long run.
I would like to know where I can get the cutting tools -and which ones - as the finish is not very good while I do it with my hands.Also, is there any one out there who can teach me a few basics.I stay close to Jalan Ampang.
