My family take herbal supplements from a company who sell their product on direct sales and I am surprised to hear that Ambank is offering loans to Government and semi-Government servants to sell product from this company as business owners.

thanks...indeed the government is giving out some loans / grants / micorcredits, whatever you name it....financial aids to help growing the business...

a lot of people are not aware of the existence of the financial aids, and also do not know whereabout to get help. For those members whom have came across or personally applied and benefited from such legal scheme, perhaps you may want to share it here..

That is a good link you have provided.

Did you check out the "loan shark" advertisement on TV. That's a good one. Following is the link for information about loan for starting a business:

http://www.mpeb.gov.my/PortalTEB/peniaga.php

It is in Bahasa though.

For those who are interested in setting up a business in Malaysia, you can head over this informative website

MIDA

MIDA = Malaysia Industrial Development Authority.

If you are around Kuala Lumpur, you can also drop by their Information Centre, located at ground floor, Block 4, Plaza Sentral, KL. There are officers to help you if needed, and you can also get free hardcopies brochures, manuals, flyers, etc on businesses in Malaysia..
